Juvenile Drug Courts: A Process, Outcome, and Impact Evaluation: Nine juvenile drug courts from three regions nationwide were assessed for the relative effectiveness of each court and the courts’ combined effectiveness in reducing recidivism and improving youth’s social functioning. Results showed that seven of the nine saw higher rates of new referrals for drug court youth when compared to youth on traditional probation. Six of the nine sites saw higher rates of new adjudications for drug court youth when compared to youth on traditional probation.
